Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo general determinar la relación entre el clima del aula
y el desempeño docente en la institución educativa particular Santiago Apóstol de Santa
Clara. Se formuló el problema general ¿Cuál es la relación entre el clima del aula y el
desempeño docente? y como hipótesis general existe relación significativa entre dichas
variables. La población estuvo conformada por 287 estudiantes de ella se obtuvo la
muestra de 132 alumnos en quienes se aplicó los cuestionarios clima del aula y desempeño
docente, los cuales fueron previamente validados por juicio de expertos y determinado su
confiabilidad mediante la fórmula de Spearman Brow encontrándose índices de
correlación de 0,9827 y 0,9348 en ambas variables. La información obtenida fue procesada
mediante el programa computarizado SPSS y analizada a nivel descriptivo e inferencial.
Para la prueba de hipótesis se aplicó la prueba de t de Student a un nivel de significación
de 5% y el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson. Como resultados se encontró que existe
relación significativa entre el clima del aula y el desempeño docente. Así mismo se
determinó que existe relación significativa entre: la situación contextual del aula, las
relaciones socio-afectivas, comunicación didáctica y el desempeño docente.
The general objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the classroom climate and the teaching performance in the private educational institution Santiago Apóstol de Santa Clara. The general problem was formulated: What is the relationship between classroom climate and teacher performance? and as a general hypothesis there is a significant relationship between these variables. The population was made up of 287 students from it, a sample of 132 students was obtained in whom the classroom climate and teacher performance questionnaires were applied, which were previously validated by expert judgment and their reliability determined using the Spearman Brow formula, finding indices correlation of 0.9827 and 0.9348 in both variables. The information obtained was processed using the SPSS computerized program and analyzed at a descriptive and inferential level. For the hypothesis test, the Student's t test was applied at a significance level of 5% and the Pearson correlation coefficient. As a result, it was found that there is a significant relationship between classroom climate and teacher performance. Likewise, it was determined that there is a significant relationship between: the contextual situation of the classroom, social-affective relationships, didactic communication and teaching performance.
