Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es el ser humano para relacionarse con el mundo que lo rodea pone en
funcionamiento estructuras cerebrales, procesos mentales y conductuales, los cuales son
campo de estudio de la Neuropsicología. Actualmente, cobra gran relevancia su aplicación
en el sistema de enseñanza aprendizaje para reconocer y atender las necesidades y
dificultades que experimentan los estudiantes, de la manera más efectiva.
En relación con eso, el objetivo de este trabajo monográfico es conocer los avances
que se han producido en el campo de la neuropsicología; familiarizarse con los
fundamentos neuroanatómicos; establecer una conexión entre la actividad cerebral y el
comportamiento; identificar las características y las causas de los trastornos; y, por último,
evaluar cómo puede aplicarse la neuropsicología al campo de la educación.
Además, el material está organizado en cuatro capítulos diferentes. El primer
capítulo trata sobre la definición de neuropsicología, su origen y sus características; el
segundo, de las orientaciones de la neuropsicología y sus diferentes tipos; el tercero,
explica sobre los principales dominios en el campo de la neuropsicología, las
características, bases neuroanatómicos, su estructura, funcionamiento y diferentes
trastornos; y el cuarto capítulo, menciona los aportes de la neuropsicología a la educación,
la intervención temprana y profesional y convivencia escolar y el control de las emociones.
Asimismo, se presenta una sesión de aprendizaje como ejemplo de abordaje de la
neuropsicología en el campo de la educación.
Luego están los apartados de síntesis, el de apreciación crítica y sugerencias y el de
referencias bibliográficas que dan cuenta de las fuentes revisadas para el desarrollo de esta
investigación. Por último, se han incluido en los apéndices: test de salida, la lista de
comprobación para evaluar las actitudes, la hoja de seguimiento de actitudes, la hoja de
autoevaluación, el caso de Teresa y el juego de memoria virtual.
The objective of this research work is the human being to relate to the world around him puts into operation brain structures, mental and behavioral processes, which are the field of study of Neuropsychology. Currently, its application in the teaching-learning system is very relevant to recognize and attend to the needs and difficulties experienced by students, in the most effective way. In relation to this, the objective of this monographic work is to know the advances that have been produced in the field of neuropsychology; become familiar with neuroanatomical fundamentals; establish a connection between brain activity and behavior; identify the characteristics and causes of disorders; and, finally, to evaluate how neuropsychology can be applied to the field of education. Furthermore, the material is organized into four different chapters. The first chapter deals with the definition of neuropsychology, its origin and its characteristics; the second, of the orientations of neuropsychology and its different types; the third, explains about the main domains in the field of neuropsychology, the characteristics, neuroanatomical bases, its structure, functioning and different disorders; and the fourth chapter mentions the contributions of neuropsychology to education, early and professional intervention and school coexistence and the control of emotions. Likewise, a learning session is presented as an example of approaching neuropsychology in the field of education. Then there are the synthesis sections, the critical appreciation and suggestions section, and the bibliographical references section that give an account of the sources reviewed for the development of this research. Finally, the following have been included in the appendices: the exit test, the checklist to assess attitudes, the attitude monitoring sheet, the self-assessment sheet, Teresa's case, and the virtual memory game.
