Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es sobre la relación existente entre el acoso
escolar y el involucramiento del alumnado del segundo y tercer año de secundaria del centro
educativo pedagógico de una universidad nacional del norte del Perú. La muestra estratificada
estuvo conformada por 130 alumnos. La investigación tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, fue de
tipo básico correlacional y diseño transversal. Los instrumentos de medida de las variables
investigadas fueron: el inventario de acoso escolar entre iguales y la escala de involucramiento
para escolares adolescentes. El tratamiento estadístico de los datos se hizo con la escala de
estanones para la descripción de las variables y la prueba paramétrica correlación de Pearson
para la comprobación de hipótesis correlacionales y la significancia estadística de los
resultados de la investigación. Éstos reportaron la existencia de una moderada correlación
inversa entre el acoso e involucramiento escolar en los alumnos encuestados; asimismo, esta
situación se replicaría entre la dimensión cognitiva del involucramiento y el acoso escolar. En
cambio, las dimensiones emocional y conductual del involucramiento tuvieron vinculación
inversa alta con el acoso escolar entre los participantes encuestados.
The objective of this research work is on the relationship between harassment school and the involvement of the center's second and third year secondary school students educational pedagogy of a national university in northern Peru.
