Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación fue el enfoque cuantitativo, cuyo objetivo fue determinar la relación entre la inteligencia emocional y el desarrollo de las habilidades de los docentes del Instituto de Educación Superior Pedagógico público Teodoro Peñaloza, Chupaca, el que evidencia una inteligencia emocional adecuada, esto significa que, los docentes, tienen un desempeño excelente, se llega a ello luego de un análisis de datos recolectados, aplicando instrumentos a una población muestra compuesta por 47 docentes , es un trabajo descriptivo correlacional de tipo, aplicada con el objeto de modificar y propiciar cambios en el sector educativo, de acuerdo a las características encontradas se determinó el uso de la prueba Rho de Spearman para comprobar la correlación que existe entre la inteligencia emocional y el desarrollo de las habilidades de los docentes del instituto, dando como resultado una correlación significativa de r = 0,872 lo cual indica una relación positiva y significativa entre las variables de estudio.
The objective of this research work was the quantitative approach, the objective of which was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and the development of the skills of teachers at the Teodoro Peñaloza Public Pedagogical Higher Education Institute, Chupaca, which evidences adequate emotional intelligence. This means that teachers have excellent performance. This is achieved after an analysis of collected data, applying instruments to a sample population made up of 47 teachers. It is a descriptive correlational type of work, applied with the aim of modifying and promote changes in the educational sector, according to the characteristics found, the use of the Spearman Rho test was determined to verify the correlation that exists between emotional intelligence and the development of the skills of the institute's teachers, resulting in a significant correlation of r = 0.872 which indicates a positive and significant relationship between the study variables.
