Abstract
La investigación tuvo como objetivo principal determinar la relación que existe
entre la autoestima, las habilidades sociales y la convivencia escolar en las Instituciones
Educativas Estatales del Distrito de Pocollay de Tacna, 2019. Estas tres variables son muy
importantes en el proceso formativo del estudiante, las cuales si son manejadas
convenientemente garantizaran su formación académica. El enfoque de esta investigación
fue cuantitativo ya que se hará uso de la recopilación de información para evidenciar
hipótesis en base al cálculo numérico y el análisis estadístico. Metodológicamente se
enmarcó en el tipo de investigación sustantiva con un diseño no experimental, transversal,
de nivel correlacional. Para los fines de la presente investigación, la población estuvo
conformada por 90 estudiantes de las Instituciones Educativas Estatales del Distrito de
Pocollay de Tacna y la muestra será censal, por ende, se seleccionó el 100% de la
población conformada por estos estudiantes. Respecto a la instrumentalización, a las
variables autoestima, habilidades sociales y la convivencia escolar se aplicó la técnica de la
encuesta y como instrumentos los cuestionarios respectivos con respuestas de tipo Likert,
la validez de los instrumentos generados fue dada por juicio de expertos y se usó el
coeficiente Alfa de CronBach para hallar la confiabilidad. Como conclusión general de
esta investigación tenemos que la convivencia escolar se relacionó significativa y
positivamente con la autoestima y las habilidades sociales, con un valor de r = 0,811,
calculada mediante el coeficiente de correlación de Rho de Spearman.
The main objective of the research was to determine the relationship between self- esteem, social skills and school coexistence in the State Educational Institutions of the District of Pocollay de Tacna, 2019. These three variables are very important in the student's training process, the Which if they are properly managed will guarantee their academic training. The focus of this research was quantitative since the collection of information will be used to evidence hypotheses based on numerical calculation and statistical analysis. Methodologically, it was framed in the type of substantive research with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational level design. For the purposes of this research, the population consisted of 90 students from the State Educational Institutions of the District of Pocollay de Tacna and the sample will be census, therefore, 100% of the population made up of these students was selected. Regarding the instrumentalization, self-esteem, social skills and school coexistence variables, the survey technique was applied and the respective questionnaires with Likert-type responses were used as instruments, the validity of the instruments generated was given by expert judgment and used CronBach's Alpha coefficient to find reliability. As a general conclusion of this research, we have that school coexistence was significantly and positively related to self-esteem and social skills, with a value of r = 0.811, calculated using Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient.
