Abstract
The objective of this research work is the theme of the Peruvian peasantry from the 1980s to the present, taking into account the economic, social and political context. As it is known, the peasant lives immersed in communities whose origins go back to the Incarios and whose main activity is the cultivation of the land and generates food resources so necessary for the population's nutrition. However, throughout its development over time it has suffered the contempt of the policies of different governments. For this reason, it is necessary to know the different stages that peasant communities have gone through in the history of Peru. This knowledge will allow us to assess the contribution, needs and importance of these communities for the consolidation of an authentic national identity, in which they recognize that Peru is a sum of efforts of the various sectors that make up our nation. The present work is structured, considering the indications that the University has established, the research method is of a bibliographic nature and the subject is analyzed from a diachronic perspective. The objective pursued by our research is to describe the development that peasant communities have followed over time. Understand how these institutions have prevailed and have developed despite multiple challenges of an economic, political and cultural nature.
