Abstract
tristes, nerviosos, inquietos, confundidos, asustados o irritables.
The objective of this research work is to make known that the situation we live in is very complicated, especially for children whose general development may slow down. The government, schools and especially parents must take action to ensure that this growth is not curtailed. School closures have created further social isolation for children and affected their development. The most disadvantaged families or those at risk of poverty are the most affected, because, although many schools offer online content to continue learning, they must have access to the Internet and mobile devices suitable for teaching. The economic crisis related to Covid-19 should also prompt the government to strengthen the protection of economic and social rights and the social protection of the most vulnerable families. The decisions and plans proposed by different governments are crucial, not only to reduce the damage of the pandemic, but also to benefit children in the long term. In an emergency, it is normal and common for adults and children to feel sad, nervous, restless, confused, scared, or irritable. Talking to someone you trust (such as family or friends) can improve your mental condition. Parents should educate their children through dialogue, talking to them regularly allows them to intervene when they encounter problems. It is very important that parents keep communication channels open and establish a strong relationship of trust with their children. Effective child care services during isolation can strengthen family ties and meet children's psychological needs. This helps to keep calm when it comes to children, not to panic, it can provide correct information and explain why children should stay home, wash their hands and follow other safety measures. A parent's job is the key to a child's personal and emotional development.
