Abstract
El objeto de este estudio cualitativo fue comprender cómo el uso de smartphones impacta
en los procesos de aprendizajes por competencias de los estudiantes de la Facultad de
Administración y Negocios, en la modalidad Carreras para Gente que Trabaja de la
Universidad Tecnológica del Perú, específicamente, en el Campus Lima Sur. Como parte
de la metodología, la investigación utilizó el diseño exploratorio, estudio de casos. Los
instrumentos de recolección de datos fueron: la observación participante del investigador,
entrevistas a profundidad, grupo de enfoque así como la recopilación de datos y
documentos relevantes que aportaran al estudio. Como técnicas para el análisis de datos se
usó la triangulación de la información, comparación de conceptos, análisis individual de
casos, análisis transversal así como una secuencia inductiva o también llamado proceso de
codificación. Entre los principales resultados se encontraron diversos beneficios en el
desarrollo de los aprendizajes conceptuales, procedimentales y actitudinales, por parte de
los estudiantes de CGT, a la vez que todo ellos fue motivado por docentes y la propia
institución de educación superior. La originalidad del estudio, se basa en la descripción de
los elementos intervinientes más importantes en el proceso de aprendizaje por
competencias en estudiantes universitarios de la modalidad semi presencial, Carreras para
Gente que Trabaja.
The purpose of this qualitative study was to understand how the use of smartphones impacts the processes of learning by competences of students of the Faculty of Administration and Business, in the Careers for Working People modality of the Technological University of Peru, specifically, in the Lima South Campus. As part of the methodology, the research used exploratory design, case studies. The data collection instruments were: the participant's observation of the researcher, in-depth interviews, focus group as well as the collection of relevant data and documents that will contribute to the study. As techniques for data analysis, triangulation of information, concept comparison, individual case analysis, cross-sectional analysis as well as an inductive sequence or also called coding process were used. Among the main results were various benefits in the development of conceptual, procedural and attitudinal learning by CGT students, while all of them were motivated by teachers and the institution of higher education. The originality of the study is based on the description of the most important intervening elements in the process of learning by competencies in university students of the blended modality, Careers for Working People.
