Abstract
The objective of this research work is to explain explained the generalities about the analysis and production of scientific texts; what is understood by science, text and knowledge was needed to build a more adequate definition of the scientific text, which is an academic production that synthesizes and exposes in a clear, orderly and objective way the knowledge obtained through validated and verifiable methods with The science. To build these definitions we use the concepts of the Cervantes Virtual Classroom and that of Padrón. Scientific texts will present specific characteristics that will distinguish them from other textual productions; Thus we can observe, in a general way from the elements of communication, that the issuer is the researcher who produces knowledge towards a scientific community in an academic context and of methodological-epistemological rigor. Additionally, in order to establish and frame the features presented, we summarize their characteristics of some classical disciplines of linguistics. The morphological characteristics of the scientific texts will refer to the uses of the categories to be used, with more emphasis on adjectives and nouns. Strings of words will be used that they will specify widely to avoid ambiguities. The verbal ending will usually be written in the past tense, as it will refer to the experiments done and already verified by any of the validating methods. From the lexical perspective, the lexical-semantic units that are produced and used in academic or scientific fields are only fully understood by themselves, since they are the ones who develop or propose them. For this reason, it is necessary that they be explained in symposia, congresses or other publications such as technical dictionaries. In this class of texts, three types of words can be clearly differentiated: techniques, those of daily use and those that are required in the lexical repertoire of the specialized discipline.
