Abstract
El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar de qué manera se relacionan
los hábitos de estudio con la inteligencia emocional de los oficiales alumnos del
Diplomado en Liderazgo y Gestión del Batallón de Infantería, en la Escuela de Infantería
del Ejército - 2018. El enfoque fue de una investigación cuantitativa, de tipo descriptivo
correlacional, de diseño no experimental. La población estuvo compuesta por 85 capitanes,
la muestra es de 70. Para la variable “Hábitos de Estudio” se les aplicó una encuesta
denominada Cuestionario de Hábitos de Estudio (CASM-85) de Vicuña Pari (1985)
adaptada para la Escuela de Infantería, que consta de 55 preguntas, con respuesta
dicotómicas (Siempre – Nunca); para la variable “Inteligencia Emocional” se consideró el
Test de Inteligencia Emocional de Alejandro Clausell que consta de 37 preguntas. Se
realizó el análisis correspondiente a los resultados de la encuesta llegando a la
demostración empírica de que el 57.1% de los alumnos tienen hábitos de estudios
excelente; asimismo, el 71.4% de los alumnos tienen nivel medio-alto de inteligencia
emocional. Se concluyó que los hábitos de estudio se relacionan significativamente con la
inteligencia emocional de los oficiales alumnos del Diplomado en Liderazgo y Gestión del
Batallón de Infantería, en la Escuela de Infantería del Ejército - 2018.
The objective of the present investigation was to determine how the study habits are related to the emotional intelligence of the official students of the Diploma in Leadership and Management of the Infantry Battalion, in the Army Infantry School - 2018. The focus was on a quantitative investigation, of descriptive correlational type, of non-experimental design. The population was composed of 85 captains; the sample is 70. For the variable "Study Habits", a survey called Study Questionnaire of Habits of Study (CASM-85) of Vicuña Pari (1985) adapted for the Infantry School was applied, which consists of 55 questions, with dichotomous answers (Always - Never); for the variable "Emotional Intelligence" the Alejandro Clausell Emotional Intelligence Test was considered, consisting of 37 questions. The analysis corresponding to the results of the survey was made, reaching the empirical demonstration that 57.1% of the students have excellent study habits; likewise, 71.4% of students have a medium-high level of emotional intelligence. It was concluded that the study habits are significantly related to the emotional intelligence of the official students of the Diploma in Leadership and Management of the Infantry Battalion, in the Army Infantry School - 2018.
