Abstract
El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación fue discernir la existencia de una conexión recíproca entre las variables de autoestima y logro de aprendizaje, focalizándose en estudiantes que cursan el tercer año del ciclo avanzado de EBA. La configuración metodológica se ajustó a un enfoque cuantitativo, adoptando un diseño no experimental y correlacional, y valiéndose del método descriptivo. En lo concerniente a la muestra, se optó por un muestreo no probabilístico, reclutando así a un grupo de 60 educandos. La recopilación de datos se llevó a cabo por medio del empleo de la encuesta como técnica principal, complementada con un cuestionario para la variable de autoestima y el registro de notas para evaluar el logro de aprendizaje. Los resultados obtenidos revelaron que el 51,7 % de los participantes exhibió un nivel elevado de autoestima, mientras que, en cuanto al logro de aprendizaje, el 48,3 % alcanzó un nivel de procesamiento satisfactorio. En última instancia, mediante un análisis de correlación que arrojó un coeficiente de 0,886 y una significancia de 0,00, se pudo establecer de manera concluyente la existencia de una relación positiva y altamente significativa entre la autoestima y el logro de aprendizaje.
The objective of this research work was to discern the existence of a reciprocal connection between the variables of self-esteem and learning achievement, focusing on students who are in the third year of the advanced cycle of EBA. The methodological configuration was adjusted to a quantitative approach, adopting a non-experimental and correlational design, and using the descriptive method. Regarding the sample, non-probabilistic sampling was chosen, thus recruiting a group of 60 students. Data collection was carried out through the use of the survey as the main technique, complemented with a questionnaire for the self-esteem variable and the recording of notes to evaluate learning achievement. The results obtained revealed that 51.7% of the participants exhibited a high level of self-esteem, while, in terms of learning achievement, 48.3% reached a satisfactory level of processing. Ultimately, through a correlation analysis that yielded a coefficient of 0.886 and a significance of 0.00, the existence of a positive and highly significant relationship between self-esteem and learning achievement could be conclusively established.
