Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo de investigacìon es dar a conocer que la semántica es una disciplina sumamente importante para la lingüística; como hemos visto en los capítulos anteriores: la semántica en sus inicios no tenía la importancia adecuada puesto que era una disciplina nueva y algo infravalorada. Posteriormente ya se expuso la gran importancia de la semántica y eso involucró más estudios sobre ella y avances semánticos en el estudio de los significados. Hoy en día la semántica es una de las disciplinas lingüísticas más complejas.
La competencia semántica que poseemos nos hace partícipes de la evolución de nuestra lengua, la logramos gracias a la capacidad de comprensión que tenemos con respecto al mundo lingüístico que nos rodea. Podemos identificar y relacionar significados con relación al contexto que nos rodea; así logrando identificar el sentido verdadero.
Los seres humanos somos seres poseedores de una facultad innata llamada lenguaje, dicha facultad nos da diversas licencias como la de poder crear palabras nuevas y también, sentidos nuevos para las palabras o expresiones lingüísticas que forman parte de nuestra habla cotidiana.
Los sentidos son esenciales para lograr una comunicación eficaz entre un emisor y el receptor(es). Generalmente obtenemos los significados de las palabras a través de un diccionario, esto es el significado denotativo, no obstante, dicho tipo de significado no se da abasto para los diversos contextos semánticos. Para poder comprendernos necesitamos una información más completa, que abarque absolutamente todo el contenido y eso lo logramos siendo conscientes del sentido con el cual el emisor nos emite su mensaje.
Los cambios de sentido son parte de nuestra comunicación y estos se dan en diversos contextos. Son las variaciones de los significados de palabras o expresiones, así mismo, de todos los cambios existentes en la lingüística, los cambios de sentido son los más copiosos y los que más aportan al dinamismo de una lengua.
En la presente monografía se busca detallar los conceptos básicos que sirven de ayuda al entendimiento de los cambios de sentido desde un punto de vista semántico.
The objective of this research work is to make known that semantics is an extremely important discipline for linguistics; as we have seen in the previous chapters: semantics in its beginnings did not have the appropriate importance since it was a new and somewhat undervalued discipline. Subsequently, the great importance of semantics was exposed and that involved more studies on it and semantic advances in the study of meanings. Today semantics is one of the most complex linguistic disciplines. The semantic competence that we possess makes us participants in the evolution of our language, we achieve it thanks to the ability to understand that we have with respect to the linguistic world that surrounds us. We can identify and relate meanings in relation to the context that surrounds us; thus managing to identify the true meaning. Human beings are beings possessing an innate faculty called language, this faculty gives us various licenses such as being able to create new words and also new meanings for words or linguistic expressions that are part of our daily speech. The senses are essential for effective communication between a sender and the receiver(s). Generally we obtain the meanings of the words through a dictionary, this is the denotative meaning, however, this type of meaning is not enough for the various semantic contexts. In order to understand ourselves, we need more complete information, which covers absolutely all the content, and we achieve this by being aware of the meaning with which the sender sends us his message. Changes of meaning are part of our communication and these occur in various contexts. They are the variations of the meanings of words or expressions, likewise, of all the existing changes in linguistics, the changes of meaning are the most copious and those that contribute the most to the dynamism of a language. This monograph seeks to detail the basic concepts that help to understand changes of meaning from a semantic point of view.
