Abstract
The research of quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design was carried out with the objective of determining the effectiveness of the Inquiry Method in learning the seismic education of students of Social Sciences and Geography; the data collection instruments were a knowledge test, attitude and procedure observation sheets, validated with the SPSS KR-20 and expert opinion. The sample size was 50 students, with 25 for each group, as they were unique sections. It was concluded that the results of the post-test responses of learning in seismic education show that the experimental group achieves higher scores compared to the control group, with highly significant mean differences, so the general hypothesis that the Method is accepted Investigation is significantly effective in seismic education for students of Social Sciences and Geography at the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University of Education.
