Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación es determinar si hay relación entre el plan
curricular y el ejercicio profesional de los egresados en mantenimiento de maquinaria de
planta en TECSUP. El estudio se enmarca dentro del enfoque cuantitativo y el tipo de
investigación fue descriptivo correlacional, de corte transversal, diseño no experimental,
con una muestra igual a la población, siendo un total de 70 egresados del 2014,
cumpliendo con los criterios de selección, a los cuales se aplicó dos instrumentos de
medición, en las variables plan curricular y el ejercicio profesional, ambos instrumentos
cuentan con validez y confiabilidad correspondiente. En el resultado, la parte descriptiva,
se ha observado de los 70 encuestados, el 48,6% (34) manifiesta que se encuentra en el
nivel bueno de la variable plan curricular, el 30,0% (21) evidencian ser regular, el 12,9%
(9) perciben ser muy bueno; por último, el 8,6% (6) manifiesta se encuentra en el nivel
malo de la variable plan curricular. Asimismo, se pudo observar que de los 70 encuestados,
el 42,9% (30) manifiesta que se encuentra en el nivel regular de la variable ejercicio
profesional, siguiendo un 38,6% (27) los que evidencian como bueno, por otro lado, el
10,0% (7) aprecian como muy bueno, y el 8,6% (6) manifiesta que se encuentra en el nivel
malo de la variable ejercicio profesional. En cuanto a la prueba de hipótesis, se obtuvieron
el coeficiente de correlación de Rho de Spearman = 0,685, para un p = 0,000 (p< 0,05)
como es evidenciada estadísticamente con una correlación significativa positiva de manera
moderada del plan curricular con el ejercicio profesional en los egresados del 2014 de la
carrera de Mantenimiento de Maquinaria de Planta en TECSUP, por lo que es aceptable la
hipótesis alternativa y rechazándose la hipótesis nula, por eso, a mejores empleos del plan
de estudio existirán mejores resultados en el ejercicio profesional. Por tanto, se ha
verificado: El plan curricular está relacionada positivamente y significativamente con el
ejercicio profesional de los egresados en mantenimiento de maquinaria de planta en
TECSUP.
