Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación fue la danza es un elemento primordial en la vida de todos los seres humanos,
especialmente para los niños de preescolar, ya que les permite desarrollar a gran escala todas
sus dimensiones: la física, al mental, la psicológica y la social, las cuales se refuerzan por la
apropiación de la identidad cultural y los valores que el baile promueve. Además, la danza es
un lenguaje no verbal que ayuda a los niños a integrarse con el mundo exterior y sus
costumbres, sobre todo en aquellos que son propios de su contexto, generando identidad y
sociabilidad.
La danza del carnaval arequipeño como estrategia didáctica permite que el niño
desarrolle su lenguaje no verbal, su dimensión social y su motricidad. Además, por los colores
que identifican esta danza y los movimientos que se requieren para desarrollarla permiten que
el niño establezca hábitos saludables, tenga mayor flexibilidad y coordinación, posea mayor
creatividad, aumente su autoconfianza, y aprenda a superar las dificultades y a trabajar en
equipo.
The objective of this research work was that dance is a fundamental element in the life of all human beings, especially for preschool children, since it allows them to develop on a large scale all its dimensions: physical, mental, psychological and social, which are reinforced by the appropriation of cultural identity and the values that dance promotes. Also, the dance is a non-verbal language that helps children to integrate with the outside world and their customs, especially those that are typical of their context, generating identity and sociability. The arequipeño carnival dance as a didactic strategy allows the child to develop their non-verbal language, their social dimension and their motor skills. Also, because of the colors that identify this dance and the movements required to develop it allow the child establishes healthy habits, has greater flexibility and coordination, possesses greater creativity, increase your self-confidence, and learn to overcome difficulties and work on equipment.
