Abstract
El objetivo general de la investigación fue determinar la relación entre Habilidades
cognitivas y la solución de problemas aritméticos en los estudiantes de 3° grado de primaria
de la Institución Educativa N° 5097 San Juan Macías Callao. La muestra estuvo compuesta
por 95 estudiantes. El método empleado fue el hipotético-deductivo, el propósito el diseño no
experimental de nivel correlacional de corte transversal; se recogió la información en un
período específico, se desarrolló la técnica de la encuesta virtual y el instrumento de
recolección de datos, fue un cuestionario que se utilizó para recoger información de los
estudiantes. Para la confiabilidad del instrumento se utilizó el KR-20 por ser un instrumento
graduado en la escala dicotómica que salió alta en ambas variables: 0,815 para la variable
habilidades cognitivas y 0, 824 para la variable solución de problemas aritméticos. Para el
análisis descriptivo se realizó tablas de distribución de frecuencias y el gráfico de barras. Y
para la contratación de la hipótesis se llevó a cabo por Rho de Spearman. La investigación
concluyó que existe una correlación muy buena (Rh0= 0,869) entre las habilidades cognitivas
y la solución de problemas aritméticos en los estudiantes de 3° grado de primaria de la
Institución Educativa N° 5097 San Juan Macías Callao. Siendo pvalor =0,000 <0,05; lo cual
indica que existe correlación. Esto confirmó la hipótesis y el objetivo general del estudio.
The general objective of the research was to determine the relationship between cognitive skills and the solution of arithmetic problems in students of 3rd grade of primary school of the Educational Institution No. 5097 San Juan Macías Callao. The population consisted of 95 studies. The method used was the hypothetical-deductive, the purpose was the non-experimental design of a cross-sectional correlational level; The information was collected in a specific period, the virtual survey technique was developed and the data collection instrument was a questionnaire that was used to collect information from the students. For the reliability of the instrument, the KR-20 was used as it was a graded instrument on the dichotomous scale that was high in both variables: 0.815 for the cognitive skills variable and 0.824 for the arithmetic problem solving variable. For the descriptive analysis, tables of frequency distribution and the bar graph were made. And for the recruitment of the hypothesis was carried out by Rho de Spearman. The research concluded that there is a very good correlation (Rh0 = 0.869) between cognitive skills and solving arithmetic problems in 3rd grade students of the Educational Institution No. 5097 San Juan Macías Callao.
