Abstract

The objective of this research work is to make known that the ability to speak is one of the abilities that distinguishes us from other animals. There are mammals and birds that communicate through a "language" made up of various sounds, but human languages are much richer and more highly developed. Human languages have developed over centuries, which is why there are so many languages today. Languages can be classified as families of common origin. There are about 7,000 languages in the world, subdivided into many dialects or forms of local languages. This language is also called Castilian because it is the name of the linguistic community that used this form of romance in the Middle Ages: Castilian. There is some controversy surrounding the names of the languages; The term Spanish is relatively new and has not been accepted by many bilingual speakers in Spanish countries, because they understand that Spanish includes the Valencian, Galician, Asian Catalan and Basque languages, which in turn are considered officially autonomous. communities in their respective territories; It is these bilinguals who propose to return to the oldest sect of the language. Spanish is understood as Leah's language. In Latin American countries this name has always been maintained, and there is no particular difficulty in understanding the Castilian and Spanish terms as synonyms. Abandoning the word Spanish will increase the difficulty of recognizing the official characteristics of a language that has been so open to influence and tolerance that it has led to its condition. On the other hand, the Spanish, like the Argentines, Venezuelans, Mexicans or Panamanians, have the right to name their Castilian language in order to call it the Argentine, Venezuelan, Mexican or Panamanian language.
