Abstract
La inteligencia emocional con el desempeño laboral de los directores en las instituciones
educativas del nivel secundaria del distrito de San Vicente; es una investigación
correlacional que utilizó un diseño descriptivo y se situó a determinar el grado de la
relación que existe entre la inteligencia emocional con el desempeño laboral de los
directores de las instituciones educativas de secundaria del distrito de San Vicente -
Cañete, año 2018. Según los resultados analizados de forma reflexiva y contrastada se
concluyó, que La inteligencia emocional se relaciona significativamente con el desempeño
laboral de los directores de las instituciones educativas de secundaria del distrito San
Vicente - Cañete, durante el año 2018, con un nivel de correlación estadísticamente
significativa de 0,677. Puesto que, si se tiene en consideración el coeficiente de
variabilidad (r
2
= 0,458) se establece que el desempeño laboral de los directores está
determinado en un 45,8% por la Inteligencia emocional existente en las instituciones
educativas de secundaria del distrito San Vicente - Cañete.
