Abstract
A quantitative research was carried out, which was adjusted to the non-experimental design, applied type, aligned to the correlational-descriptive level. The population was 224 second year cadets and the probabilistic sample was 142 cadets. Its main purpose was "to determine the relationship between academic skills and autonomous learning in second year cadets of the Escuela Militar Coronel Francisco Bolognesi, 2019". For this purpose, it was appropriate to resort to the survey and the reliable questionnaire of 24 items, this technique and instrument allowed collecting information. With the support of the SPSS program version No. 25, it was possible to estimate and identify the reciprocity between the variables. Subsequently, with a Spearman's Rho of 0.709, it was concluded that, "academic skills are moderately and positively related to autonomous learning in second year cadets of the Escuela Militar Coronel Francisco Bolognesi, 2019".
