Abstract
The work done on evaluation by competences and the quality of learning in 3rd grade students. High school in the area of History, Geography and Economics of the I.E Ramiro Priale San Juan de Miraflores 2019, has as its main problem: What is the relationship between the evaluation by competencies and the quality of learning in students? and the objective was formulated to: Determine the relationship between the evaluation by competences and the quality of the learning in the students. The methodology used corresponds to descriptive studies, with a non-experimental design of the cross-sectional descriptive level of cross-sectional descriptions. It was attended by 120 students, being a probabilistic sample, with a total of 92 students. To measure the variables, the questionnaire was used according to the variables (evaluation by skills and quality of learning). It was found that 57.6% (53) show that the evaluation by competences is good, 57.6% (53) show that the quality of learning is good, if we verify the result p ˂ 0.05 and the Rho of Spearman = 0.818 can infer that there is a very high positive correlation between the variables, so it is shown that there is a direct and significant relationship between the evaluation by competencies and the quality of learning in students (p ˂ 0.05, Rho de Spearman = 0.818, positive correlation being very high).
