Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación denominado “Gestión municipal y calidad del
servicio público en la municipalidad provincial de Huallaga 2018”, presento como objetivo
general determinar la relación entre la gestión municipal y la calidad del servicio público
en la municipalidad provincial de Huallaga 2018. En cuanto a la metodología se desarrolló
bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo correlacional y con un diseño no experimental. Por
otro lado la muestra lo conformaron 379 pobladores de la provincia de Huallaga, el mismo
que fue determinado mediante muestreo probabilístico, por tal motivo se empleó como
instrumento de recolección de datos dos cuestionarios. Después de aplicarse los mismos se
obtuvieron como resultado que la gestión municipal fue calificado como regular por el
32% de los encuestados, mientras que el 32% de los pobladores percibió que es
inadecuado y el 14% restante señalo que es adecuado, por otro lado la calidad de servicio
público fue calificado como según el 45% de los pobladores encuestados, mientras que el
42% lo percibió como media y el 13% restante afirmo que se encuentra con un nivel de
alta. En tanto se encontró también los resultados de la prueba estadística de Rho Spearman,
donde el coeficiente de correlación fue a ,869; demostrando que existe una correlación
positiva considerable entre las variables, a esto se agrega el valor de sig. bilateral que fue
menor a 0,05 (0,000) . Se llegó a concluir que se acepta la hipótesis de investigación: la
gestión municipal se relaciona positivamente con la calidad del servicio público en la
municipalidad provincial de Huallaga 2018.
The present research work called "Municipal management and quality of public service in the provincial municipality of Huallaga 2018", presented as a general objective to determine the relationship between municipal management and the quality of public service in the provincial municipality of Huallaga 2018. On the other hand, the sample consisted of 379 inhabitants of the province of Huallaga, the same that was determined by probabilistic sampling, for this reason two questionnaires were used as data collection instrument. After applying the same, the result was that the municipal management was rated as regular by 32% of the respondents, while 32% of the inhabitants perceived that it is inadequate and the remaining 14% indicated that it is adequate, on the other hand the quality of public service was rated as according to 45% of the surveyed inhabitants, while 42% perceived it as average and the remaining 13% affirmed that it is at a high level. In as much it was also found the results of the statistical test of Rho Spearman, where the coefficient of correlation was to, 869; showing that there is a considerable positive correlation between the variables, to this the value of sig is added. bilateral that was less than 0.05 (0.000). It was concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted: municipal management is positively related to the quality of public service in the provincial municipality of Huallaga 2018.
