Factores académicos y sociales en la deserción de los estudiantes de Electricidad del Instituto Superior Tecnológico Simón Bolívar - Callao 2020

Abstract

El objetivo general de la investigación fue determinar la relación entre los factores académicos-sociales y la deserción de los estudiantes de la especialidad de Electricidad del Instituto Superior Tecnológico Simón Bolívar-Callao 2020. Siendo la muestra de 40 estudiantes. El método empleado fue el hipotético-deductivo, diseño no experimental de nivel correlacional de corte transversal; se recogió la información en un período específico, se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta y el instrumento fue un cuestionario que se utilizó para recoger información de los estudiantes vía google formularios. Para la confiabilidad del instrumento se utilizó el alfa de Cronbach, salió para la variable los factores académicos y sociales fue 0, 861 y para la variable deserción de los estudiantes fue de 0,819. Para el análisis descriptivo se realizó tablas de distribución de frecuencias y el gráfico de barras. Y para la contrastación de la hipótesis se llevó a cabo por Rho de Spearman. La investigación concluyó que existe una correlación buena entre los factores académicos-sociales y la deserción de los estudiantes de la especialidad de Electricidad del Instituto Superior Tecnológico Simón Bolívar-Callao 2020. Siendo el Rho de Spearman= 0,781 y pValor =0,000 <0, 05;. Esto confirmó la hipótesis y el objetivo general del estudio.

The general objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the academic-social factors and the dropout of the students of the Electricity specialty of the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Simón Bolívar-Callao 2020. The sample being 40 students. The method used was the hypothetical-deductive, non-experimental, cross-sectional correlational design; The information was collected in a specific period, the survey technique was applied and the instrument was a questionnaire that was used to collect information from the students via google forms. For the reliability of the instrument, Cronbach's alpha was used, the academic and social factors were 0.861 for the variable, and 0.819 for the student dropout variable. For the descriptive analysis, frequency distribution tables and the bar graph were made. And for the testing of the hypothesis it was carried out by Rho de Spearman. The research concluded that there is a good correlation between the academic-social factors and the dropout of the students of the Electricity specialty of the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Simón Bolívar-Callao 2020. Being the Rho of Spearman = 0.781 and pValor = 0.000 <0.05. This confirmed the hypothesis and the general objective of the study.
