Abstract
En la presente investigación se estudia la mediación pedagógica y la actitud
científica de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad Nacional
Federico Villarreal. La población objeto de estudio estuvo conformada por 280 estudiantes
de los cuales se extrajo una muestra de 165 alumnos, con un muestreo de tipo
probabilístico y estratificado, a quienes se les aplico los instrumentos de recolección para
medir las variables mediación pedagógica y actitud científica. Los resultados obtenidos se
analizaron a través de la Hoja de cálculo de Microsof Excel y el programa estadístico
SPSS, empleándose para la prueba de hipótesis el estadístico paramétrico r de Pearson a un
nivel de 0,05, debido a que los datos presentan distribución normal. Los resultados indican
que mediación pedagógica y la actitud científica se expresan en forma predominante en el
nivel medio o regular. Asimismo, se demuestra que existe correlación directa, moderada y
significativa entre la mediación pedagógica y la actitud científica.
In the present investigation, the pedagogical mediation and the scientific attitude of the students of the Faculty of Education of the Federico Villarreal National University are studied. The population under study was made up of 280 students from which a sample of 165 students was extracted, with a probabilistic and stratified sampling, to whom the collection instruments were applied to measure the pedagogical mediation and scientific attitude variables. The results obtained were analyzed through the Microsof Excel spreadsheet and the SPSS statistical program, using the Pearson r parametric statistic test at a level of 0.05, because the data presents normal distribution. The results indicate that pedagogical mediation and scientific attitude are predominantly expressed at the average or regular level. It also shows that there is a direct, moderate and significant correlation between pedagogical mediation and scientific attitude.
