Abstract
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal determinar la influencia que
existe entre la poesía popular y la identidad cultural de los estudiantes de la Facultad de
Ciencias Sociales, Educación y de la Comunicación de la Universidad Nacional “Santiago
Antúnez de Mayolo”, Huaraz, Región Ancash, 2018. Su enfoque es cuantitativo, según el
tipo de investigación es descriptivo-explicativo-correlacional, con un diseño no
experimental de corte transversal. La recolección de datos se realizó aplicando la técnica
de la encuesta a una muestra aleatoria del universo de la población objetivo del estudio. El
cuestionario permitió obtener información de indicadores relevantes de las variables
planteadas: Identidad cultural y de poesía popular. En conclusión, que teniendo como
población los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales, Educación y de la
Comunicación de Universidad Nacional “Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo” se ha encontrado
evidencias que refuerzan el considerar que existe influencia significativa de la poesía
popular en la identidad cultural, relaciones significativas entre la poesía popular y la
vigencia cultural y entre la poesía popular y la práctica de costumbres y tradiciones.
The main objective of this research is to determine the influence that exists between popular poetry and the cultural identity of the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Education and Communication of the National University "Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo", Huaraz, Ancash Region, 2018. Its approach is quantitative, according to the type of research is descriptive-explicative-correlational, with a non-experimental design of cross section. In conclusion, having as a population the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Education and Communication of the National University "Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo", evidence has been found that reinforces the consideration that there is a significant relationship between popular poetry and cultural identity, significant partial relationships between popular poetry and cultural validity and between popular poetry and the practice of customs and traditions.
