Abstract
El propósito de esta tesis titulada: Perfil profesional del director y la calidad
educativa en una Institución Educativa Pública en el año 2019 fue analizar el rol que
cumple el director de una I.E. con respecto al liderazgo, conocimiento, relevancia,
iniciativa y búsqueda de soluciones ante los desafíos que se producen en el servicio
educativo, en el que gerencia, hacia la calidad institucional. El enfoque ha sido el
cuantitativo, con un tipo de investigación sustantiva, diseño descriptivo correlacional y
método hipotético deductivo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 36 docentes de la
Institución Educativa N° 7072 San Martín de Porres, del ámbito de la UGEL 01, San Juan de Miraflores. Para la recolección de la información respectiva se utilizó la técnica de la encuesta y con los siguientes instrumentos: Cuestionario sobre el perfil profesional del director y Cuestionario sobre calidad educativa. Los resultados fueron los siguientes: Existe relación significativa entre el perfil profesional del director, a nivel total y en las dimensiones: Roles, conocimiento, habilidades y destrezas, actitudes, valores y la calidad educativa, en una Institución Educativa pública en el año 2019.
The purpose of this thesis entitled: Professional profile of the director and educational quality in a public educational institution in 2019 was to analyze the role of the director of an I.E. with regard to leadership, knowledge, relevance, initiative and search for solutions to the challenges that occur in the educational service, in which management towards institutional quality. The approach has been the quantitative one, with a type of substantive research, correlational descriptive design and hypothetical deductive method. The sample consisted of 36 teachers from Educational Institution No. 7072 San Martín de Porres, from the UGEL 01 area, San Juan de Miraflores. To collect the respective information, the survey technique was used with the following instruments: Questionnaire on the professional profile of the director and Questionnaire on educational quality. The results were the following: There is a significant relationship between the professional profile of the director, at a total level and in the dimensions: Roles, knowledge, abilities and skills, attitudes, values and educational quality, in a public educational institution in 2019.
