Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como principal objetivo el determinar la relación
entre la inteligencia emocional y la calidad del aprendizaje de los estudiantes de la
Institución Educativa Particular Cristina García Blanco, Tarapoto. Para ello, el estudio se
enmarcó en un diseño no experimental correlacional, mientras que para la recolección de
datos se empleó la técnica de la encuesta siendo el cuestionario de preguntas el
instrumento para ambas variables, recalcando que para la primera variable se empleó l test de Mayer & Solovey el cual es el Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24), la cual se aplicó a una muestra conformada por 103 estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Particular Cristina García Blanco. Lo resultados más resaltantes fue el hecho el 93.2% de los estudiantes presentan un nivel bajo en torno a la asimilación del aprendizaje, mientras que el 6.8% presentan un nivel medio, puesto que los estudiantes les cuesta trabajo resolver problemas con los contenidos aprendidos, y también los estudiantes no consideran importante obtener mayor conocimiento para su futuro. Finalmente, se concluye que entre la inteligencia emocional y la calidad de aprendizaje existe una relación significativa.
The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and the quality of learning of the students of the Particular Educational Institution Cristina García Blanco, Tarapoto. For this, the study was framed in a correlational non-experimental design, while for the data collection the survey technique was used, the questionnaire being the instrument for both variables, emphasizing that for the first variable the test was used Mayer & Solovey which is the Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24), which was applied to a xiédium conformed by 103 students of the Cristina García Blanco Private Educational Institution. The most outstanding results were the fact that 93.2% of the students present a low level around the assimilation of learning, while 6.8% present a xiédium level, since the students find it difficult to solve problems with the learned contents, and also the students do not consider important to obtain greater knowledge for their future. Finally, it is concluded that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and the quality of learning.
